We went to Florida this past weekend to visit Chris' mom. See the beautiful beach behind her and Chris in that first picture? Yeah, me neither. That's cause the first day we were there we were surrounded by a cloud of smoke from the forest fires burning in northern FL. You couldn't see 10 feet in front of you and it smelled pretty bad! Luckily, it cleared up later in the afternoon and we were able to get out again. We saw an alligator, had a pull up contest (I'm so tough!) and went to the beach several times. It was great to see Marlys and relax in some good weather for a few days. Hope the fires are contained soon!
