Chris is has ripped out the old tile on the fireplace floor and put in new slate tile, which is really pretty. Eventually we will probably cover up the painted brick as well on the front. He just finished the edging which looks great! On Friday the people are coming in to install our new wood stove, which I am SO excited about! Our house will be MUCH warmer this winter, which I'm sure everyone who ever visits will be happy about also. Maybe no more stocking caps in the house this winter? We will see! :-)
