My friend Bill has season tickets to Dance St. Louis and this past weekend he couldn't go so he gave me his ticket.  I love dance so of course took the free ticket and went to see the show.  It was 4 different dance companies and I must say I really only liked 1 of them.  The others were super avant-garde and just... weird.  Music that was very shrill or discordant or just weird noises and dancing that wasn't pretty at all.  I am not super traditional - I don't need to see tutus and a lot of lifts - but I did not see the art in this stuff.  *sigh*  I will still be back later in the season so see something else because usually I like everything they do!
