Last weekend I went to Chicago to celebrate my friend Shannon's birthday. Devon, Katie and I left STL on Friday and headed to Springfield, IL for a little mini birthday party at TJ's house. Then we all left the next morning on the Amtrack for Chicago. Apart from the train getting into Chicago about 2.5 hours late, it was lots of fun. (!) We played Yahtzee to pass the time on the train and ate the almost-edible food from the snack car. Saturday night we went out to eat at a Moroccan restaurant which was super delicious, then headed to a club to see Chuck Love. It was a quick weekend, especially with the time change, but lots of fun. Happy birthday, Shams!
