This year I talked Chris into going to the balloon glow in Forest Park. This is the event they have the night before the balloon race and TONS of people attend. We parked at the Metrolink station parking lot outside the park to avoid the bumper to bumper traffic. This turned out to be a good plan, because there were no parking spots left inside the park -but man did we have a hike! Whew. Freddy liked all the pretty balloons and it was so cool to see all these huge things lighting up the sky. I can see why everyone fights the crowds to go.
