More lake time!  Chris, Freddy, the dogs and I headed up to the rent's lake house on Thursday for a little r 'n r and a little work.  On Friday, Chris and dad took down the bushes in the front yard that were blocking the stairs.  The job didn't take too long, except for the part where they took out the stumps, which required a little hacking and yanking with a bunch of tools that I don't know the names for.  Freddy enjoyed watching all the activity - he's going to be a good little helper some day!  The front yard looks so much better and now you can actually see the house from the street.  Also, people might actually use the stairs now instead of cutting across the grass.  We'll see.  Mom came home with us yesterday and will be staying the week here since Chris is going on a business trip Tues-Fri.  It will be nice to have a little help and also to not have to take Freddy on dog walks this week in the heat!  Thanks ma!
