Baby Genius. Well, Freddy was late at most things - crawling, walking, getting teeth...but he does seem to be pretty fast at gaining a large vocabulary. He said "da-da" pretty early on, and then "baaa" for the sheep sound then "baaa" for an actual ball. Now he can say:
uh-oh
bye-bye
cracker and tractor (these sound very similar)
tree
Tut-tut (for Tattles)
deer
banana ("na na na")
car
truck
stick
rock
cat
bird
bus (it was hard for him to figure out the "s" sound)
mama
grandma
and grandpa!
He can also say "bye bye" and then another word which I think sort of counts as a sentence right? He's said "bye bye water" and "bye bye da-da" over the last few days. He also waved bye bye for the first time yesterday at the park to another little boy. I'm so proud!
